Celebrating the release of their album ‘Orchestra of Samples’, British electronic duo Addictive TV perform their latest AV sampling extravaganza described by Cultured Vultures as ‘a glimpse into the very essence of music’. Take over 200 musicians from more than 25 different countries, imagine that they never met or recorded together but converge in a project of unique fusions, crossing cultures and musical genres. Five years in the making and called “ingenious and compelling” by The Times, Addictive TV filmed improvised recording sessions with musicians around the world, then ingeniously sampled and spliced them together to create new music of incredible cultural collisions - a digital supergroup of international artists who never met but play together on screen. Bringing their audiovisual DJing madness to Playground AV, electronic duo Addictive TV need to be seen to be believed! Remixing everything from Daft Punk and Red Hot Chili Peppers to Transformers and Star Trek, as Doctor McCoy would say, it’s entertainment Jim, but not as we know it! They “create the perfect integration of audio and visual technologies in their thrilling live show” wrote the Huffington Post, as the duo super-cut movies and videos to the extreme, creating music with video samples!
