Welia lebt in Wien, wo sie die Musikszene sowohl hinter den Turntables als auch als Veranstalterin und Teil des Labels Sama Recordings mitgestaltet. Darüber hinaus interessiert sie sich für Gender-Dynamiken in der elektronischen Musik und hostet eine regelmäßige Radioshow auf Retreat Radio in Schweden. Welia ist unter anderen monatlich im Rhiz als Resident DJ sowie auch live als Teil der Band Ausgesprochen: Neu zu hören.
