Join us as we raise the foundation for CELESTE’s future sound. The entrance fee and all proceeds from the bar and merchandise sales will contribute to a better sounding CELESTE.

CELESTE has been a fixture of Vienna’s cultural landscape for over 30 years, 12 of them as a club. Our sound system is showing its age and the space as a whole needs a fresh concept.
CELESTE was never meant to be a traditional, profit-driven venue but rather a cultural home for artists, concerts and music from diverse scenes and backgrounds. To make CELESTE sound the way we all imagine it – and because there’s no wealthy investor behind us – we rely on your support!
THE GOAL: a new sound system and an acoustic concept that will carry the club into the future.
In collaboration with various collectives and artists, we’re launching the „SUBSTANZ – SOLIFEST for a better sounding CELESTE“ event series – nights that give back directly to the place that brings us together.
The progress will be documented and shared transparently on a regular basis. With each event, the project grows.
