Like the past two years, we’re welcoming Vienna’s open-air season with a big smile - and we couldn’t be happier to start it together with you at our first „Techno auf der Insel“ of the year.

Techno was born far from perfect conditions. In Detroit, when factories shut down and the future looked uncertain, kids turned drum machines into something else entirely - tools for building their own world. What they intentionally left behind were rules, borders and neat little genre boxes. And honestly, that’s still the point.

"Nine O Nine" remains a tribute to the sounds that shaped an era - a time when the lines between techno and house moved as freely as the Danube.
