Das Jahr geht zu Ende und zum Abschluss besucht uns der großartige Rodrigo Gallardo zum ersten Mal aus Chile. Sein Hybrid-Set, bestehend aus überlieferten Melodien aus dem südlichsten Zipfel des Kontinents, verbunden mit elektronischer Musik, nimmt uns auf eine Reise nach Lateinamerika mit, das wacher denn je ist.
Erwähnenswert ist auch, dass wir gemeinsam mit unser Resident-DJane und Veranstalterin von 'Vienna is Tropical' - LA MACHI - Vollmond und ihren Geburtstag feiern werden.

RodrigoGallardo is a composer,multi-instrumentalist,andproducer from Chile.
Hebegan his journey in music from an early age, next to the charango and the zampoña.
His careerincludesbeingone of the founders of the Matanza group,with whom he developed- for almost ten
years - compositions loaded with influences from folklore and electronics.
It has severa lpublished record productions,which are part oft he global organic electronics movement,where
collaborations are born with different brothers and colleagues along the route.
He currently presents a LIVE format with 4 musicians on stage,where they performthe songs of his own.
The origin ofits sonority is in the Andean and LatinAmerican-rooted music, impregnated with the modernity of
the samples, electronic beats,and deep bass capable of commanding this trip through the song, the reeds,
charangos, andguitars, alongwith lyrics that seek collective consciousness and ancestral connection.
