Experimental live techno with chirping sounds, fatty basses and hard trance swooshing pads. Born and raised in Budapest, based in Marseille at the moment. Active around EXILES, the go-to Hungarian experimental electronic music label, and the French LYL Radio.


Alley Catss
Máté Janky is a Budapest-based musician and visual artist. Having been involved in various different projects since his first release in 2011, his musical language has become eclectic, drawing inspiration from a wide range of sources. Alley Catss merges ambient and abstract sonic ideas with fragments of dance music, such as techno, jungle and juke, and tries to contextualize the outcome within the worlds and phenomena of virtuality and digital spaces. In his live sets, improvisation, rawness and randomness alike play a great role.

Being part of @indadasocial she is now also member of "GELEE", a new event series by @format.strk, which will be taking place every 2nd month at @fluc starting july 8, 2022. KATANA has released on @viennaundergroundtraxx and is not only drawing floating, soothing soundlandscapes with her sets, but even more pushing and freeing emotion and motivation to get ready for hakken. Playing hardhop, (hard)trance, early gabber, hardcore(techno), speedcore, doom, 80s/90s house.
