BIOGRAPHY

"... House music, which is strictly linked with the cultural aspects of the Berlin music scene." The artist name Tim Vitá consists of a combination of the real name and the intention: to live the love. The first release and therefore the debut is the Balkan song ‚Balcania’ at the global highly respected UK House label Cr2 Records. Working intuitively with a carefully selected and continuously current music variety constitute for Tim Vitá a basic requirement behind the decks. Since 2005 he developed through previous projects a fine sense to interpret the audience interests and pleasing convey own impressions. In 2011 he released his first EP called ‚Cultural Hoop‘ on the Berlin based label Hula Hoop with remixes by the duos Bara Bröst and Kotelett & Zadak. One year later Tim Vitá worked together with friendlies artists like M.in (Desolat), Oliver Gehrmann (Freude am Tanzen) and also Bara Bröst (BBE) for groovy House music. The second EP '136 Tales' on Freude am Tanzen was released in August 2012 and is a really close cooperation with Oliver Gehrmann, who is also a part of the huge family: ‚Fabelwesen Berlin‘. Artists like Pete Tong or Maya Jane Coles support these tracks by playing them on BBC Radio 1 or at Ibiza nights. In 2013 various new productions were done and released on international imprints like Local Talk, Room With A View or Neovinyl Recordings. Simultaneously Tim Vitá invented a party called Hijackin’ with a bunch of international artists, minimum 3 lives and the focus to bring talented, sometimes undiscovered acts to Berlin. His sense for music gave him the opportunity to work as booker for the meanwhile reputable ‚Prince Charles‘ club.
