About Trujillo
Trujillo is a Berlin-based Venezuelan DJ, selector and music producer. He is perhaps best known for unearthing infectious house, soul and boogie gems from the Spanish-speaking world, as showcased in his critically acclaimed compilation Ritmo Fantasía: Balearic Spanish Synth - Pop, Boogie and House (1982 - 1992) (Soundway Records, 2021). Highly versatile and deeply knowledgable about music, Trujillo is one of the most interesting DJs around, playing regularly across Europe and in the Americas. He is also a long-term collaborator of Claas Brieler from Jazzanova, with whom he both runs the music label True Class and forms an eponymous DJ duo.
