_about Ha-Ze Factory

The producer/DJ team of Constantin Zeileissen and Philipp Haffner- known as Ha-Ze Factory- was unsurprisingly born in a night club. A 15 year old Philipp Haffner was DJing everything from hip hop to the dance music of the moment, when Constantin Zeileissen approached him. A shared love for the raging 90's European techno and house scene brought them to the fateful cooperative decision to buy an MPC2000 which catapaulted them into the world of production. Inspired by the sounds of the Detroit/Chicago "motherland", they began deftly producing first under their electro moniker Microthol and more recently under the name Ha-Ze Factory.

They have released on labels such as Trust, Pomelo, Mr. Intl, Puzzlebox, K7, Universal and their forthcoming contribution to the Hercules and Love Affair record is being released on Moshi Moshi Music. Their productions have received praise from luminaries like Terrence Dixon and Anthony "Shake" Shakir. They have had the pleasure of remixing legends such Newcleus, Alexander Robotnick, Supermax and the recently unearthed No-Wave gem Deekay Jones to wave making newcomers like Shaun J Wright and Hercules and Love Affair.
